for Mayor
to champion a
Jersey City For All
Deciding to challenge the status quo and run for Mayor was no easy choice. But seeing our city – the most diverse in America – struggle with issues like affordability and gentrification, and grappling with the shadows of machine politics, I knew I couldn't stay on the sidelines.
Jersey City raised and educated me. When I became the youngest elected official in our city's history, it was because you trusted me. Once again, I am asking for your trust to help build a Jersey City that works for all of us."

Jersey City isn't just where I live; it's the community that molded me into the person I am today. From the diverse streets of our neighborhoods to the classrooms where I first felt the call to serve, this city has given me so much. Now, as I raise my voice and step into the arena, I’m fighting not just for my family, but for every resident who shares our dream of a better, fairer Jersey City.
Throughout my life, from battling cancer to advocating for educational equity, I’ve learned the value of resilience and community. Serving as the youngest member of the Jersey City Board of Education, and later, as its President, I fought for a fully funded budget, fair wages for our teachers, and the abolition of student lunch debt. These aren't just policies to me; they're personal commitments to our shared future.
The Platform
Bottom Line — Jersey City is too expensive!
No back rooms, no vendor money, no excuses. Honest, transparent leadership that treats residents like stakeholders—mobility as a right, housing you can afford, and city services that are simple, modern, and fair.
Jersey City is experiencing a growing affordable housing crisis. The rising cost of housing has displaced many long-time residents and made it difficult for low and moderate-income families to find affordable housing. Existing public housing units are deteriorating, and new developments often cater to higher-income residents, exacerbating the displacement and marginalization of lower-income families. Without immediate and effective intervention, this trend threatens the diverse and inclusive fabric of Jersey City.
Jersey City's education system faces numerous challenges, including underfunded schools, overcrowded classrooms, and disparities in educational resources. Many schools lack modern facilities and updated technology, hindering students' ability to receive a high-quality education. Teachers are often underpaid and overworked, leading to high turnover rates and a lack of continuity in students' learning experiences. Additionally, early childhood education programs are not universally accessible, leaving many children without the strong foundation they need for long-term academic success. Disparities in education persist, with underserved communities facing significant barriers to accessing quality education.
Jersey City faces challenges in ensuring public safety due to issues such as violent crime, mental health crises, and gun violence. The community's trust in law enforcement has been strained, necessitating a shift towards community-oriented policing. Additionally, the justice system requires reforms to address systemic inequalities and ensure fair treatment for all residents. Emergency response systems need enhancements to handle crises effectively, and youth engagement programs must be strengthened to prevent criminal behavior and support positive development.
Jersey City faces significant economic challenges, including disparities in job opportunities, access to capital for small businesses, and the need for modern infrastructure. Small businesses, which form the backbone of the local economy, often struggle with high operating costs and limited access to financing. Additionally, many residents lack the skills required for high-demand jobs, leading to unemployment and underemployment. The city's infrastructure also requires upgrades to support economic growth, and there's a pressing need for sustainable development practices to ensure long-term prosperity. Economic inequity remains a major issue, with minority-owned and women-owned businesses facing additional barriers to success.
